Hours: Full-time
💰 Rate: £21.50 per hour (LTD)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Housing Options Advisor to join a dynamic team and provide customer-focused advice and support to individuals facing housing difficulties. This role involves delivering high-quality housing advice, preventing homelessness, and supporting service users to sustain their accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Providing advice on tenancy rights, housing applications, welfare benefits, and debt management
✅ Conducting interviews and home visits to assess housing needs
✅ Supporting customers in securing or maintaining their accommodation
✅ Liaising with landlords and negotiating tenancy arrangements
✅ Assisting with temporary accommodation placements and administration
✅ Managing housing applications and verifying customer information
✅ Ensuring compliance with relevant housing legislation and safeguarding responsibilities
Requirements:
🔹 Experience in a customer-facing housing role
🔹 Knowledge of homelessness prevention, housing law, and welfare benefits
🔹 Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
🔹 Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
🔹 IT proficiency and record-keeping accuracy
