Are you an experienced compliance professional looking to make an impact in temporary accommodation? A Local Authority in Slough is seeking a Temporary Accommodation Compliance Officer to ensure property compliance and support the acquisition of new TA properties.
THE ROLE
As a Temporary Accommodation Compliance Officer, you will ensure that all TA properties meet compliance standards and work closely with the TA Commercial Manager on property acquisitions.
- Conduct visits to both new and existing temporary accommodation properties.
- Identify and address non-compliance issues within TA properties.
- Work with landlords and property owners to resolve compliance concerns.
- Provide recommendations for improving property standards.
- Maintain accurate records of property compliance.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure adherence to housing regulations.
- Support the acquisition process by assessing compliance requirements.
- Required to attend the office in Slough 2 days per week.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar compliance role within the housing or property sector.
- Strong knowledge of property compliance regulations.
- Experience working with temporary accommodation or social housing.
- Ability to identify and address non-compliance issues.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with landlords and internal teams.
- Ability to manage site visits and compliance reporting efficiently.
- Temporary – 3 months
- The pay range for the role is £23.00 to £25.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £19.61 to £21.31 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
