Are you a Team Manager seeking a new long-term challenge? Do you have previous experience working in Neurodevelopmental Assessments?

Service Care Solutions are working in partnership with our established client to recruit an experienced Team Manager for a Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service in Huddersfield. The service provides high-quality assessments for Children and Adults referred for Autism and/or ADHD assessments via NHS Patient Choice and their GP. This is a Permanent opportunity based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Job Purpose: Team Manager
Salary: £62,000 - £65,000 per annum + £250 Welcome Bonus, paid via Service Care Solutions
Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The post holder will work as part of the Multidisciplinary Team, managing a team of professionals and ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Management of the multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, speech and language therapists, OTs, paediatricians, and assistant psychologists.
  • Be the point of contact for all matters related to the day-to-day running of the local service.
  • Oversee the assessment process, ensuring compliance with NHS referral pathways.
  • Monitor contract mobilisation and service delivery.
  • Ensure the implementation of the company’s strategy within the local service.
  • Monitor contracts and local KPIs to maintain service quality.
  • Ensure clinical governance and compliance with professional standards.
  • Oversee all current assessment cases, ensuring clear plans and timely delivery.
  • Problem-solve operational issues such as staff absence and caseload management.
  • Support team members in their development and transition into the role.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with senior management to implement solutions.
  • Attend company events and management meetings.
  • Identify training needs for the team and facilitate access to necessary training.
Essential Requirements:
  • HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or NMC Registered Nurse.
  • Knowledge and experience conducting ASD/ADHD Assessments and Diagnosis
  • ADOS-2/ADI-R Training
