Are you looking for a hands-on outdoor role where you can make a real difference in your community? Our client is seeking a Street Cleaning Operative to join their multi-disciplinary team responsible for maintaining clean and safe public spaces across Doncaster.
Street Cleaning Operative Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain streets and public areas to high standards for residents and visitors
- Carry out outdoor maintenance and cleansing duties in all weather conditions
- Act as a point of contact for residents, handling enquiries professionally
- Support additional service areas as needed to ensure year-round operations
- Use appropriate equipment and technology safely, reporting any hazards or defects
- Assist with emergency response, including winter maintenance and standby cover.
Street Cleaning Operative Requirements:
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Experience using street cleansing and horticultural equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic IT skills
- Customer service experience
- Willingness to undertake further training.
