Service Care Solutions have a vacancy for a Cleaning Operative to join a local authority working out of the Gorton area of Manchester on a part-time basis.
The role holder will undertake a variety of tasks to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained within the centre and surroundings of the centre.
The role holder will support in the cleaning and tidying of residential homes to a high standard.
Key duties in this role will include;
- Undertake general cleaning duties to a high standard in all areas of the building, ensuring the property is hygienic, clean, safe and accessible for all customers. This includes the;
- Removal of infestation of rodents.
- Filling skips with unwanted items from the properties such as rubbish and damaged furniture.
- Safely store all equipment and cleaning materials, maintain stock control records and liaise with managers when additional resources/materials are required, reporting any damages or repairs.
- Undertake all duties with due care and consideration for customers, staff and other building users in line with Health and Safety requirements, raising any issues or concerns with managers, as appropriate.
- Participate in staff development opportunities and take full advantage of training provided.
- Demonstrate commitment to the provision of services that deliver equality and social inclusion
About you;
- Hold a Full UK Driving License
- Be flexible to cover large parts of Manchester where required
- Be Physically fit
- Have an understanding of Health and Safety processes
- Be willing to consent to an Enhanced DBS Check
