Speech and Language Therapist

Are you a Speech and Language Therapist with a passion for supporting Children? Do you have previous experience supporting Children with ASD amongst other conditions?

We are working in collaboration with our established client to recruit an experienced Speech and Language Therapist in the South West London area. The successful candidate will support Children between the ages of 7-19 with a range of conditions including high functioning Autism. This is a Full-time opportunity, although applications of all hours ar5e considered.

The service is an independent, specialist day school providing specialist care to Children and Younger people with complex conditions including ASD. They tailor the level of care and support to each individual student via an education and therapeutic approach. The service received an rating of 'GOOD' in their latest Ofted inspection.

Role: Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)
Contract: Permanent - 37.5 Hours (Full-time) | Part-time Hours are available

Location: South West London

Salary: £30,000-£50,000 per annum + £250 Welcome Bonus, paid via Service Care Solutions
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments of both new and existing students to determine the scope and nature of their Speech and Language Therapy needs.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of therapy sessions, case notes, and student progress, and provide regular progress reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other professionals, to ensure holistic support for each student's needs.
  • Assist with the analysis and reporting of data for research, audits, and statistical purposes.
  • Work independently, managing your own workload while contributing to the overall success of the therapy team.


Requirements:

  • Degree or Equivalent Qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Experience working with Children and Younger People
