Bromley Council are recruiting for a Permanent Senior Practitioner to join their ATLAS team.

+ £2,000 Golden Hello and £2,000 Annual Retention Allowance

Hours: Full Time (36 hours)

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role:

Bromley Council have recently created a new, exciting Senior Practitioner post within the Atlas team, and are looking for an experienced social worker/senior practitioner, with a keen interest in working with vulnerable adolescents. This post is a developing role and will mature and change over time. The initial stages will be to work with the Team Manager to strengthen the offer of support, advice and intervention to practitioners and professional working with young people at risk of extra-familial harm.

The Atlas social worker will initially work with the Team Manager to develop the following areas:

  • Intervention programmes for young people at risk of exploitation.
  • Develop and deliver training to social workers and partner agencies.
  • Lead on complex mapping exercises
  • Undertake 1:1 pieces of work with a small number of young people / Co-work with allocated social workers.
  • Provide expert advice and support.
