Job Title – Revenues Operation Team LeaderLocation – London (Hybrid Working Available)
Contract – Temporary
Hours – Full time, 35 hours per week
Role summary –
We are looking for an experienced Revenues Operation Team Leader to deliver an excellent, customer-focused Council Tax service. You will support the Revenues Operation Manager, lead the day-to-day management of the team, and ensure effective collection and review services.
Salary - £29.79 LTD / £24.35 PAYE per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Day-to-day management of the Revenues team.
- Ensure quality assurance, resource planning, and verification of discounts and exemptions.
- Manage the digitalisation of Revenues and Benefits post.
- Assist with council tax refunds, complex queries, and legislation interpretation.
- Monitor and analyse KPIs, ensuring service improvements.
- Represent the Council at Valuation Tribunals if required.
- Promote Equal Opportunities and customer care.


Requirements:- High-level knowledge of Council Tax and Enforcement legislation.
- Strong communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Experience managing and motivating staff within a Revenues environment.
- Ability to interpret legislation and implement necessary changes.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
