Location: City of Doncaster Council
Salary: £38,658 + 8.5% all-inclusive allowance
Hours: 148 hours over 4 weeks (includes weekends, sleep-ins, and shift cover)
Are you ready to lead, support, and make a real difference in the lives of young people? City of Doncaster Council is looking for a dedicated Residential Deputy Manager to help run our children’s home in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
Key responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day operations and step up in the Registered Manager’s absence
- Lead care planning, safeguarding, staff supervision, and rota management
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and professionals
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards
- Experience in residential childcare with leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations & Ofsted standards
- Level 3 QCF in Children & Young People (Level 5 desirable)
