Interim Rents Officer
Location: Harvey Road, Nottingham (Hybrid – 2 days WFH)
Contract: 3-month initial contract (potential for permanent)
Start Date: ASAP

Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Interim Rents Officer to support the Income Team at Housing Services. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced rents professional to contribute to the recovery of unpaid rents while working closely with the Head of Rents to coordinate service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage the recovery of unpaid rents to Housing Services.
  • Support the Head of Rents in coordinating service delivery across the Income Team.
  • Ensure compliance with social housing regulations and income collection policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues within the team.
Essential Criteria:
  • Proven experience within a rents environment.
  • Strong knowledge of social housing regulations.
  • Previous line management experience.
Desirable Criteria:
  • NVQ Level 4/5 or Chartered Institute of Housing qualification (or working towards).
Work Arrangement:
  • Hybrid working – based at Harvey Road, Nottingham, with 2 days WFH per week (subject to line manager agreement).
