Job Title: Quality Assurance Project Manager
Salary: BR14: £47,745 - £51,234 per annum (pro-rata)
Hours: Full-time & part-time vacancies available
Contract: Permanent, part-time / full-time
Location: Bromley Civic Centre/flexible working
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Safeguarding, Practice and Provider Relations service. The role is part-time with working pattern to be arranged between the successful candidate and the line manager.
The Quality Assurance Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of the People Directorate Adult Social Care annual quality assurance programme, support the implementation of quality assurance framework and audit methods or tools to report on the quality of the service provision for adult service users and carers to make and implement recommendations to improve the quality of service provided.
Part-time role with flexible working hours is available which will be agreed with the successful candidate. We have an in-office policy of 2 days per working week in office, the successful candidate will be expected to work in office for one day per week. There is also a full-time role available.
Essential Knowledge/Experience
The ideal candidate should:
· To be responsible for the implementation of the Quality Assurance Policy, Governance and Framework; and for the delivery of the annual quality assurance audit programme in Bromley Adult Social Care.
· To coordinate quality and performance monitoring activities within adult services and to assist with the reporting of performance information; outcomes of audits and contribute to corrective action to assist with the improvement of practice.
· To set up and carry out scheduled case file audits, practice reviews and observations, produce good quality reports for the senior management team. To work with team leaders and senior care managers to evaluate the effectiveness of frontline social work practice against a set of quality standards.
· To collate and analyse the data arising from the quality assurance activities, identify good practice as well as themes for learning, practice development and service improvement, reporting to the Principal Social Worker, senior management, Quality Assurance Management Board and other groups as appropriate.
· To support the Principal Social Worker in the development of best practice, promote new ways of working, facilitate training workshops and reflective learning forums to ensure staff gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to work effectively to meet quality standards.
· To lead on and undertake various projects relating to quality improvement in service delivery, development of good practice in safeguarding adults and social work intervention.
· To provide regular progress reports on Quality Assurance activities to internal and external stakeholders.
· Have detailed knowledge of the implementation of strength-based approaches, Quality Assurance mechanisms, and methods and models of Social Work intervention.
