Service Care Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Void Cleansing Operative to join a Housing Association in Nottingham on a temporary basis initially for 3 months.

An immediate start is available to the successful candidate following successful interview where the candidate will be working a total of 37 hours per week working the below hours.
Mon - Thurs 8am-4pm and Friday 8-3.30pm

This is a mobile role where the successful candidate will be working between multiple sites therefore having a Full UK Driving License is mandatory to the role and having access to own vehicle is desirable, however a vehicle can be provided dependent on insurance terms.

Key duties for this role will be;

  • General clearance and removal of bulk refuse furniture eg sofas, furniture, old tenant items, wardrobes and other associated items from housing stock (including residents' gardens and lofts) and transporting to a designated disposal or storage area.
  • Clearing and cleansing of domestic properties and associated external areas, in accordance with laid down frequencies and procedures.
  • To undertake grounds maintenance duties as directed by the Void Cleansing Manager, including the removal of graffiti in accordance with established procedures.
  • Mow lawns, cut hedges, strim long grass, general garden maintenance and preparation using petrol powered equipment.
  • Role is an active manual role and therefore candidates will need to lift items and access tight spaces such as cellars, lofts etc. to clear items.
  • Light Cleaning duties, sweeping down, wipe rounds.
