Youth Practitioner
 
Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Youth Practitioner in Haringey.
 
Are you passionate about supporting young people and creating safer communities? We're looking for a dynamic and dedicated Youth Practitioner (Outreach) to join our Early Help and Prevention team.
 
This is a part time role working 20 hours a week.
 
Pay rate – £14.96 PAYE / £18.43 Umbrella per hour
 
Main Responsibilities
 
As a Youth Practitioner you will be responsible for:
 
  • Deliver detached and street-based youth work across the borough during evenings and occasional weekends
  • Build strong, positive relationships with young people to encourage personal and social development
  • Provide one-to-one and group interventions to support young people at risk of school exclusion or entry into the criminal justice system
  • Collaborate with local authority, health, education, and voluntary sector partners to offer holistic support
  • Help young people access youth centres, family hubs, and other services within the 0–19 offer
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting for funding and service improvement
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and reflective practice
 
Requirements:
 
  • Understanding of safeguarding, adolescent development, and risk management
  • A Level 2/3 qualification in Youth & Community Work (or willingness to complete within 12 months)
  • Experience working with diverse young people and families in challenging environments
