Responsibilities:
- Developing individualized care plans based on assessment findings. These plans include goals, interventions, and strategies for supporting the patient’s recovery.
- Administering prescribed psychiatric medications and monitoring for any side effects or adverse reactions. Mental health nurses also educate patients about their medication regimen.
- Responding to psychiatric emergencies, such as suicidal ideation, aggression, or self-harm. Providing immediate support and de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Assisting with planning for a patient’s discharge by preparing them for continued care at home or in a community setting and ensuring follow-up support or referrals are in place.
- Fully enhanced valid DBS
- Must have Mental health nursing degree.
- A minimum of 12 months post qualification experience is desired.
- Must be willing to live on Isle of Man for 3 – 5 months.

Rate Breakdown:
£46ph LTD | PAYE Inclusive: £40.99
We offer a £250 bonus for starting a contract with SCS.
