Job Title: HR Assistant
Salary: £11-12 PAYE(Inclusive of Holiday Pay) | £14-£15 P/H LTD Umbrella
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Type: Temporary Ongoing
Location: Bury, BL9
Start Date: ASAP

Are you ready to join a dynamic HR/Payroll team in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for an experienced HR/Payroll Assistant to support during a period of increased workload and staff absence. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of HR and payroll services, particularly during a time of restructuring and staff transfers under TUPE.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions across HR and payroll systems, including creating positions and completing staff transfers.
  • Produce and issue variation-to-contract documents.
  • Verify and ensure employee pay accuracy.
  • Support ongoing restructures and TUPE transfer processes.
  • Manage mini-projects and additional processing tasks as required.
  • Follow established processes while using initiative to manage workload effectively.
  • Adapt to changes quickly and maintain flexibility in a dynamic work environment.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR/Payroll environment is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to process transactions accurately.
  • Proficiency with HR/Payroll systems.
  • Ability to manage workloads independently while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to change management.
