Eating Disorder Nurse (Birmingham NHS)

Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Eating Disorder Nurse to join the Birmingham NHS Trust on a temporary contract. This is a great chance to contribute your skills in supporting patients with eating disorders in a structured, supportive environment.

Key Details:

• Position: Eating Disorder Nurse
• Location: Birmingham, NHS Trust
• Contract Type: Temporary, through Service Care Solutions
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (Full-time)
• Hourly Pay: £26.50 - £27 per hour (Ltd)
  (Paid via an Umbrella company)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialist nursing care to individuals with a range of eating disorders.
• Conduct assessments and develop individual care plans.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including dietitians, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
• Provide support and advice to patients and families, promoting recovery and positive health outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.

Key Requirements:

• Qualification: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse (RGN) with experience in eating disorders.
• Experience: Previous experience in an eating disorder setting is essential.
• Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and the ability to work independently within a team environment.
• Compliance: Up-to-date DBS, relevant immunizations, and a valid NMC registration.
