We are working with a firm who is a respected law firm based in the South of Scotland with thirteen enterprising and dynamic offices across the Scottish Borders and Dumfries & Galloway. We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join their Galashiels and Peebles office. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive team, managing residential property transactions and delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.
Job Description:
As a Conveyancing Solicitor in our Peebles office, you will be tasked with overseeing residential property transactions, ensuring that clients receive the best possible service throughout their conveyancing journey. This role is well-suited to a solicitor who values client relationships and takes pride in managing their own caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of residential conveyancing transactions, from initial instruction to final completion.
- Maintain direct and effective communication with clients, offering expert legal advice and updates throughout the process.
- Draft, review, and finalise contracts, transfer deeds, and other related documents.
- Work closely with estate agents, lenders, and fellow solicitors to ensure transactions proceed smoothly.
- Ensure all conveyancing activities comply with relevant Scottish laws and regulations.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Conveyancing Solicitor with experience in Scots Law.
- Proven track record in managing residential conveyancing cases is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
