Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Complaints Officer to join an NHS service in Droitwich, Worcester on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in managing complaints and ensuring high standards of service delivery within the Children, Young People, and Families (CYPF) Service, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Role Details
- Location: Droitwich, Worcester
- Contract Type: Temporary (Agency)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-time)
- Pay Rate: £31 Ltd (Umbrella) per hour
- Manage and respond to complaints and enquiries in line with NHS policies and procedures.
- Investigate concerns raised by patients, families, and stakeholders to ensure fair and effective resolutions.
- Liaise with clinical teams, service managers, and external agencies to gather relevant information.
- Maintain accurate records of complaints, actions taken, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and NHS complaints policies.
- Provide reports and data analysis on complaint trends to support service improvements.
- Offer support and guidance to staff on complaints procedures and best practices.
- Extensive experience working within the CYPF Service and SEND.
- Excellent communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in spreadsheets and data management.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Up-to-date DBS check and right to work in the UK.
