Our Client based in Bristol is currently recruiting for a Damp & Mould Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a full time, permanent role with the ideal candidate possessing extensive Surveying knowledge and experience ideally for / on behalf of a Social Housing Provider.
The role involves surveying customer homes and communal spaces. You will be working alongside our residents and leaseholders taking ownership of ensuring that repairs are managed end to end and to manage issues and complaints that arise before, during or after works.
You will have surveying experience, preferably in Social Housing. You can carry out building diagnostics and have a working knowledge of the Schedule of rates. You will have an understanding of root cause and solution for damp and mould and be able to identify Asbestos. A great communicator, you will be confident in using Microsoft Office and producing clear reports on your findings. Our Clients next Surveyor will have the ability to work to tight deadlines and within budget. Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence is required.
What do you need to do the role?
- A proven track record for delivering/managing multiple technical building projects.
- A working knowledge of Schedule of Rates.
- The ability to give great customer service to all of the alliance homes stakeholders
- A Formal Building qualification such as a RICs accredited course, BSC, HNC, HND or working towards one.
- Good working knowledge of Health and safety regulations and good practices inclusive of Construction design management
- Confident using IT such as Microsoft packages and Outlook.
- Experience of working with asset management, leasehold, response repairs, empty homes and programmed works.
- Experience of identifying Asbestos.
- Awareness of HHSRS risks
- Strong organisational and decision-making skills.
- A full driving licence.
Our Client is looking to move quickly and is offering £44,625 per year to be based in their Bristol office.
