A client within the Public Sector based in Northampton is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to provide a disrepair and general housing surveying service.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Management of disrepair and insurance claims, through liaison with our legal representatives, visiting site and surveying the condition of properties, writing reports, and responding to requests for information.
- Attend court as and when required, providing evidence on behalf of the client
- Accept responsibility for the investigation and response to complaints, including visiting the complainant and inspecting the property, as required.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require
- HNC in Building or Construction
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £28 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
