Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join our team for locum assignments across multiple community hospital settings throughout Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for physiotherapists looking to work in a flexible capacity within a supportive, outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment and treatment for a wide range of MSK conditions, including first presentation musculoskeletal complaints and post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation.
  • Work autonomously within outpatient physiotherapy clinics, delivering evidence-based care.
  • Collaborate with the wider MDT and contribute to patient-centred care planning.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NHS documentation standards.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Proven NHS experience in an MSK outpatient setting, ideally at Band 6 level
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Contract Details:
  • Immediate start available
  • Full-time and part-time hours considered
  • £27 per hour (umbrella) / £24.29 PAYE inclusive
