Anti-Social Behaviour Officer

⏰ Hours: 36.25
💰 Rate: £23.79 per hour LTD
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority for an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join their Community Safety team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a background in tackling ASB, liaising with multi-agency partners, and managing complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Lead and coordinate the Partnership in Safer Communities sub-group focused on anti-social behaviour.
✔ Investigate and manage ASB cases, working closely with the Police, Housing, Social Services, and Probation.
✔ Handle casework referrals involving nuisance, harassment, and community safety concerns.
✔ Recommend improvements to policies and procedures for dealing with ASB.
✔ Act as a Designated Safeguarding Officer, ensuring best practices are followed.
Requirements:
🔹 Previous experience managing ASB cases within a housing or community safety setting.
🔹 Strong understanding of safeguarding, domestic violence, and counter-terrorism initiatives.
🔹 Proven ability to work collaboratively with law enforcement, local councils, and resident groups.
🔹 NPPV (Non-Police Personnel Vetting) Level 2 clearance or willingness to undergo vetting.
