Service Care Solutions is a leading recruitment agency specializing in high-quality placements. We are seeking a Workshop Mechanic for our client in Gloucester on a permanent contract.

Job Description: We need an experienced Workshop Mechanic to maintain, repair, and service a variety of vehicles and equipment. The role includes diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Mechanical experience in heavy or light vehicle/plant workshops.
• Basic fabrication and welding skills.
• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with a mixed fleet of light and heavy vehicles, including specialist or emergency vehicles.
• Ability to manage work independently.

• Good customer perception and time management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet high standards.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Mechanics parts 1 & 2, or equivalent.
• LGV/Light Mechanic qualification.
• LGV category "C" driving license.
• GCSEs in English & Maths.
• IRTEC Qualification.
• Basic or advanced electrics diagnostic and repair qualification.
