Waking Night Support Worker
Location: City of Doncaster Council
Salary: £27,259 - £29,955 pro rata + 17.5% all-inclusive allowance
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (21 hours/week)
DBS Disclosure: Enhanced required
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with disabilities and complex care needs? Join our team as a Waking Night Support Worker in Doncaster's Children’s Residential Homes.
In this role, you will:
  • Provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for children during the night
  • Support with housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and paperwork
  • Monitor and discreetly oversee the children’s safety during the night
  • Collaborate with other staff and liaise with external agencies when necessary
  • Be flexible to cover shifts for other night care officers
What we’re looking for:
  • Good communication and basic IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to undertake training (including QCF Level 3 and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention)
  • Must be able to work nights, including weekends and occasional overtime
