Hands-on Support & Technical Oversight:

  • Oversee the evolution and maintenance of the company's key systems, including MySQL, PHP, Yii2 MVC stack, and Bootstrap 5 front-end interfaces.
  • Guide the migration from legacy systems (Node.js, C#, Sage platform) while ensuring access to historical data.
  • Be willing to step in for technical problem-solving and system improvements when necessary.

Project Management & Delivery:

  • Lead the delivery of critical IT and UX projects, ensuring they align with business needs, on time and within budget.
  • Optimise the user experience for internal and external systems, promoting efficiency and usability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Operations) to deliver seamless and high-quality digital experiences.
  • Maintain focus on the security, scalability, and efficiency of systems to support the company's growth.

Commercial & Communication Excellence:

  • Align IT and UX strategies with broader business objectives, focusing on growth, cost-efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Communicate project scope, timelines, and outcomes effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure external resources align with business goals.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in IT or UX, with a track record of delivering key projects.
  • Strong experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and MVC frameworks, with an emphasis on people and project management.
