Telecare Response Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Telecare Response Officer to work in the community across the Halton area as part of the Telehealth Service.

This position is:

* Full time hours - 37 hours per week

* Temporary contract - initial 3 months

The service is for anyone who feels at risk or vulnerable in their own home. People choose to have the Telehealthcare Service for different reasons. They may live alone and want reassurance that they can contact someone easily if they have a problem. They may have difficulty getting around the house or have health problems. They may need to contact someone quickly if you are unwell or have an accident. The Telehealthcare Service gives reassurance and can get practical help to people when it is needed.

Your role within this team would be to respond to alerts placed by services users within their own homes. You may also make calls to schedule equipment exchanges, minor replacement of wrist straps and triggers and some outgoing calls regarding scheduling upgrades.

You will need:

• Full UK driving license
• Previous experience within care/ support
• Knowledge of moving and handling and first aid

This role is for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension after that.
