Telecare Officer
Duration: Initially 3 months
Location: Lewisham
Hours: 35 hours a week
Shifts: 3 days per week, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
Rate: £24 umbrella an hour (£19 PAYE an hour)
About the Role
As a Telecare Officer, you will be responsible for providing crucial support and assistance to individuals in need, particularly during day and night shifts on a rotational basis. Your primary duties will involve handling calls, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Work day and night shifts within a structured 7am - 7pm or 7pm to 7am shift pattern
- Respond promptly to calls and emergencies
- Assist vulnerable adults in an Adult Social Care (ASC) setting
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all interactions
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Experience working with vulnerable adults in an ASC setting is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Hold a clean driving license
