Service Care Solutions is assisting a Local Authority in recruiting a Practice Manager to join their Youth Justice Team on a 4-month temporary assignment.
About the Role: As part of a multi-agency team, the Youth Justice Service delivers high-quality support to children, young people, and their families. The role focuses on:
- Preventing offending and reducing reoffending
- Diverting children and young people from the Criminal Justice System
- Supporting those sentenced to a Community Order or Custodial Sentence
- Engaging with and supporting victims of youth crime
- Oversee the delivery of effective interventions for young people involved in the justice system
- Lead and manage a team to ensure best practices in youth justice work
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to develop tailored support plans
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and safeguarding requirements
- Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness, making improvements where necessary
- Proven experience in youth justice, social work, or a related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-agency setting
- Excellent communication and case management skills
- A relevant qualification in Social Work, Youth Justice, or a related discipline
