Key Details:

  • Position: Speech and Language Therapist
  • Location: South West London
  • Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + £250 starting bonus
  • Hours: Flexible (full-time or part-time available)
  • Contract: Permanent


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments of both new and existing students to determine the scope and nature of their Speech and Language Therapy needs.
  • Lead and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring that all activities and interventions align with the provisions outlined in students' Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Manage a personal caseload, ensuring timely delivery of therapy services and consistent monitoring of student progress in line with EHCP requirements.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of therapy sessions, case notes, and student progress, and provide regular progress reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other professionals, to ensure holistic support for each student's needs.
  • Assist with the analysis and reporting of data for research, audits, and statistical purposes.
  • Work independently, managing your own workload while contributing to the overall success of the therapy team.


Essential Criteria:

  • BSc in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent, with HCPC registration.
  • Experience or knowledge of working with autism and learning difficulties.
  • Experience working with Children.
