Are you experienced in providing support to survivors of domestic abuse? Our client, a Local Authority in Enfield, is seeking a Specialist Resilience Housing Coordinator to deliver critical housing services and support to individuals facing domestic abuse and safeguarding issues.

THE ROLE
The Specialist Resilience Housing Coordinator will work within the Resilience Team to provide specialist casework to homeless applicants, particularly survivors of domestic abuse.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing homelessness casework and housing support to domestic abuse survivors.
  • Ensuring all casework complies with national and local housing legislation and safeguarding practices.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to improve housing outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
  • Identifying and addressing safeguarding concerns, particularly related to domestic abuse, forced marriage, and FGM.
  • Supporting the development of safeguarding best practices within the Housing Advisory Service.
  • Contributing to team development and helping embed resilience practices across the service.
  • Maintaining accurate, GDPR-compliant records and reporting on case outcomes.



THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have significant experience working with domestic abuse survivors in a housing context and will be able to deliver specialist homelessness casework.
Key skills and experience include:

  • In-depth knowledge of welfare, housing, and homelessness legislation, particularly related to domestic abuse.
  • Experience in conducting assessments, managing cases, and developing Personal Housing Plans (PHP).
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience in risk management, particularly for vulnerable individuals.
  • Ability to collaborate with partners across sectors, such as social care, police, and legal services.
  • Experience delivering high levels of customer service to individuals with complex needs.



THE CONTRACT
35 Hours per Week (9-5, Monday to Friday)
3 Month Contract
The pay range for the role is £20.47 to £23.53 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £17.45 to £20.06 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
