Service Development Officer
Duration: Initially 3 months
Hours: 37 hours a week
Rate: £28 umbrella an hour
Southampton City Council are currently looking for a Service Development Officer to join their Integrated Commissioning Unit.
As a Service Development Officer you will:
- Assist in the development of a clear integrated approach to commissioning with specific responsibility for service re-design and performance in identified areas
- Support the Integrated Commissioning Unit in service planning and strategy
- Undertake needs assessment to inform planning and development
- Undertake service reviews and develop option appraisals to support commissioning decisions
- Develop detailed service specifications
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience of managing projects and achieving outcomes in timescales and complex settings
- Experience of leading service development change
- Experience of producing strategies and/or polices
- Experience of managing risks and reporting
- Understanding of Health & Social Care system including Primary Care
