Key Responsibilities
- Safeguarding First: Protecting young people from harm and ensuring their care plans and risk assessments are up to date.
- Resilience & Commitment: Supporting young people through challenging situations with patience and understanding.
- Health & Safety Awareness: Ensuring the well-being of young people, staff, and visitors at all times.
- Ongoing Training & Development: Completing essential training and working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People if not already achieved.
- Active Engagement & Fun: Encouraging and participating in activities that promote well-being, development, and enjoyment.
- Education Support: Assisting young people with accessing education and ensuring regular attendance.
- A Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience in a children’s residential setting (preferred)
- A passion for supporting young people and helping them thrive
- The ability to work flexibly, including shifts, evenings, and weekends
