Due to continued growth and business requirements, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Electronic / Senior Electronic Engineer to join their design team.
We are interested in speaking to Engineers with at least 2 years relevant industry experience and in turn my client are able to offer an extremely attractive salary in line with experience and an extensive rewards and benefits package
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, operate, and develop products to meet customer requirements on time and within budget
- Design systems and test specifications to fulfil requirements
- Complete testing and validation of systems against objectives to validate designs
- Proactively re-engineer existing products to reduce costs while maintaining product quality
- Ensure efficient and consistent translation of products from development to production
- Support the sales team in producing technical information and cost estimates for bids.
- Collaborate with customers to agree on requirements, provide progress updates, control changes, and deliver to acceptance criteria
- Provide technical support for products throughout their lifecycle
- Build strong relationships with preferred suppliers and encourage their contribution to new product development
- Identify and define work packages and tasks required for timely, high-quality project delivery
- Report project and technical progress to internal stakeholders on behalf of the department
- Coordinate product handovers from Engineering to Production
Essential Experience Requirements:
- Hold a BEng Degree or Master's Degree in electronic or Mechatronics Engineering, or hold a number of years relevant experience in a similar role
- At least 5 years' experience, involved in full product life cycle from initial product design through to product test and sign off
- PCB Design, ideally using Altium
- Strong understanding of component selection / sourcing, component obsolescence, component compliance
- Hold a British Passport with the ability to obtain UK Security Clearance
