Job title: RMN or RGN
Rate Of Pay: £21 an hour
Work pattern: Full time, permanent role. 40 hours per week, on call provisions on a rota basis.
Working as a RMN/RGN at a Private Independent Hospital in Maidenhead, your duties will include the following:

Information about the Role:

  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long term service users.
  • Behave professionally and discreetly at all times and in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
  • Be competent and confident in managing people with long term health conditions.
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users with complex needs.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users (as appropriate).
  • Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex,
  • urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
  • Recognise and work within own competence level
  • Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Support, manage and guide support workers on a daily basis.
  • Continual personal development to develop oneself and the role.

Necessary Experience or Qualifications:

Someone who has a real passion for caring and helping people.

  • Hold a valid NMC Pin
  • Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
  • Have the right to the work in the UK
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a health care/ mental health setting.

Information about the Service:

The services have a dual purpose whereby Mental Health regulated activities run parallel to a Nursing Home environment and the services cater for the needs of both genders. The accommodation is inclusive of 18 dual registered beds for nursing care, 42 nursing care and long term rehabilitation beds and 32 short term rehabilitation beds. The clinical team also provides Outreach and Community services. All accommodation is provided in spacious rooms which are all en-suite with television lounges, dining areas and personal care facilities. All rooms have lockable doors, storage space and lockable cabinets for personal effects or self-administering medication.
