Residential Support Worker
Job Description
Gloucestershire County Council are seeking a Residential Support Worker to join their Rehabilitation Services team based in Gloucester. As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing 24-hour care for planned, unplanned, and emergency stays. Your role will involve creating a positive, caring, and stimulating environment that meets every resident's needs. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team, where you will be required to help residents with personal care and medication, lead shifts as the Officer in Charge, and supervise Rehabilitation Assistants.

Requirements
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible to work on a shift basis, including every other weekend and sleep in duties as required
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Guided by care plans and risk assessments
- Expert support and training will be provided
Contract Details
- Temporary to Permanent opportunity
- 3-month contract with potential to go permanent
- 3 positions available: 27 hours, 30 hours, and 32 hours per week
