Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Excellence: Deliver high-quality mental health nursing care to individuals in various settings, including hospitals, community care, and other healthcare facilities.
- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Adhoc Availability: Respond to staffing needs on a flexible basis, accepting shifts as per your availability. This offers you the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to legal and ethical standards. Provide clear and concise reports on patient progress as required.
- Continuous Professional Development: Stay informed about advancements in mental health nursing, attending relevant training sessions and contributing to your professional growth.
Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
- Experience in a mental health setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.
