Service Care Solutions are looking for a Case Officer to working within the Lincolnshire Police on a 12-month contract.

Job role/responsibilities:
To manage a caseload of referred individuals, undertaking structured assessments to identify needs, risk and vulnerability; develop, deliver, source and coordinate planned interventions to meet those identified needs, undertaking ongoing reviews to identify any changes to need and responding accordingly.
- Build strong relationships with individuals moving away from offending or risky lifestyles by being clear, consistent, honest, supportive, and fair, addressing their offending through recognised pathways and personal vulnerabilities.
- Explain options to cohort members, enabling them to make their own choices towards their identified destinations.
- Have detailed knowledge of TIL interventions, proactively managing, sourcing, directing, and delivering them for a willing caseload.
- Undertake structured assessments with partners and service providers to identify needs, vulnerabilities, and risks for allocated caseloads.
- Ensure robust case management with timely and accurate recording of assessments, plans, interventions, and reviews to demonstrate activity and outcomes.
- Use empathy, compassion, and personal experience to influence offender behaviour.
- Monitor and review case progress, using professional judgment to identify changes in need, risk, or vulnerability, and update police teams or partners as required.
- Represent Lincolnshire Police at relevant multi-agency forums.
- Share information with other departments/agencies according to guidelines, actioning nominations from tasking, and reporting back within specified timescales.
Knowledge/experience required:
- An understanding of Crime and ASB, and the causal factors.
- A sound understanding of Lincolnshire Police priorities in relation to keeping people safe from harm.
- A Working knowledge of preventative activity across a wide range of partners.
- An excellent communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships.
- Ability to demonstrate a level of awareness of equality and diversity issues appropriate to this role.
- Prepared to work flexibly and advocate on behalf of families, children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
- Full driving licence.
