Description:
Service Care Solutions is assisting a police force in Lancashire with the recruitment of a skilled Procurement Officer. We are looking for candidates who are part or fully qualified in Level 5 or Level 6 of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). The role involves managing procurement processes, tendering, and contract negotiations within public sector frameworks.
Requirements:
- CIPS Level 5 or Level 6 qualification
- Experience in public sector procurement
- Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and contract management
- NPPV3 Vetting required
Responsibilities Include:
- Undertaking procurement projects in line with public contract regulations
- Managing high-value tenders and contracts
- Providing procurement advice to senior managers
- Ensuring compliance with procurement laws and achieving value for money
