Role: Principal Contracts Lawyer
Location: Berkshire – hybrid/remote
Umbrella Rate: £65-£70ph
PAYE Rate inclusive of holiday: £57.11 - £61.45ph
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Key responsibilities of the Principal Contracts lawyer role:
- Provide expert advice on commercial contracts, procurement, and public sector frameworks.
- Manage and supervise a team of lawyers and paralegals.
- Advise on various boards within the Council.
- Current practising certificate and entitlement to practice in England as a Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience of contract and procurement rules and regulations. Experience with JCT & NEC contracts and company law is desirable.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
