Are you an experienced Press Brake Operative/Setter looking for a new opportunity with long-term potential? Service Care Solutions are working with a client who are currently seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.
About the company: A provider of a range of vehicle services to customers and manufacturer of a number of high quality commercial vehicle builds and tipper bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up programming and operate press brake machinery in accordance with production specifications.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks to ensure components meet the required standards.
- Load and unload material onto machines
- Adjust machine settings as needed for material type, thickness, and desired bend.
- Ensure guillotine cuts the material correctly.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating and setting press brake machinery (e.g. Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if required.
- A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
