About the Role


We are looking for a skilled Plumber (Multi-Trade) to join our Maintenance Team in Social Housing. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality plumbing repairs, installations, and refurbishments, ensuring our properties remain safe and well-maintained for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general plumbing repairs and installations, including:
  • Fixing and maintaining bathroom and kitchen plumbing.
  • Repairing and unblocking domestic drainage systems.
  • Installing and making safe cylinders, pumps, and heating distribution systems.
  • Installing cold water distribution and wastewater disposal systems.
  • Removing and replacing bath panels, fitting showers, and tiling where required.
  • Perform additional multi-trade tasks as needed, such as:
  • skirting boards, and boxing-in.
  • Repairing and installing uPVC windows, locks, and garage doors.
  • Installing kitchens, staircases, bannisters, and carrying out minor glazing work.
  • Complete on-site risk assessments and report any hazards to your line manager.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents while ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

    What We're Looking For

    • Qualified plumber with experience in domestic maintenance and installations.
    • Multi-trade skills (such as carpentry, tiling, glazing, or locksmithing) are highly desirable.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Full UK driving licence (if a van is provided).
