About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Plumber (Multi-Trade) to join our Maintenance Team in Social Housing. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality plumbing repairs, installations, and refurbishments, ensuring our properties remain safe and well-maintained for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general plumbing repairs and installations, including:
- Fixing and maintaining bathroom and kitchen plumbing.
- Repairing and unblocking domestic drainage systems.
- Installing and making safe cylinders, pumps, and heating distribution systems.
- Installing cold water distribution and wastewater disposal systems.
- Removing and replacing bath panels, fitting showers, and tiling where required.
- Perform additional multi-trade tasks as needed, such as:
- skirting boards, and boxing-in.
- Repairing and installing uPVC windows, locks, and garage doors.
- Installing kitchens, staircases, bannisters, and carrying out minor glazing work.
- Complete on-site risk assessments and report any hazards to your line manager.
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents while ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified plumber with experience in domestic maintenance and installations.
- Multi-trade skills (such as carpentry, tiling, glazing, or locksmithing) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence (if a van is provided).
