PIP 2 Investigator (Serious and Complex Crime)
Location: Loddon Valley
Rate: Up to £30 per hour

Are you an experienced investigator with a passion for solving complex and serious crimes? Thames Valley Police (TVP), in collaboration with Lewis Ashcroft and Service Care, is seeking a dedicated PIP 2 Investigator to join their team in Loddon Valley.

Role Overview:
As a PIP 2 Investigator, you will play a crucial role in managing and progressing the investigation of serious criminal offences. You will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with police officers and staff to deliver justice and maintain public confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and coordinate investigations using advanced techniques and technologies.
  • Interview suspects and witnesses to gather critical evidence.
  • Manage and prioritise caseloads, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural standards.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality prosecution files within tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to safeguard vulnerable victims.
  • Attend court hearings, providing evidence and supporting the prosecution team.

Requirements:

  • PIP 1 accreditation or equivalent experience in criminal justice investigations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours and travel across the designated area.
  • Full UK driving license is essential.
