📅 Duration: 6 weeks
💰 Rate of Pay: £35 to £40 per hour dependent on experience, PAYE or Ltd company
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified experienced Primary Care Physician Associate to contribute to the health and well-being of our patients while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare network environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe medications and treatments under the guidance of supervising physicians.
- Provide patient education on preventive care, chronic disease management, and medication adherence.
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain electronic health records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physician Associate Studies or a related field.
- Current certification as a Physician Associate.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based medicine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Flexibility to work variable hours and weekends as needed.
