Neurology Specialist Nurse
Opportunity available for a Neurology Specialist Nurse to work within a Neurology, Based near Worcester
The team sits within the community hospital with the role predominately provide a nursing service to patients on discharge from hospital, including medication reviews, secondary prevention education, information and advice. You will receive excellent support from the wider team which comprises Neuro therapists. As part of this role you will have clinical responsibility for the care and management of patients and work closely with family and carers. You will also support the specialist nursing team to provide support and reviews. You may see patients in their own homes, in our outpatient clinic and/or at other appropriate settings to facilitate rehabilitation. You will be part of a dynamic MDT consisting of Specialist Therapists and Nursing. You will participate in delivering education and be involved in reviewing medication for patients at home and following hospital discharge. The whole team contributes to ongoing clinical development and improvement projects to ensure that we provide an excellent service for our patients. Continuing personal development is encouraged through training opportunities and an established supervision and appraisal structure.
This role is to commence ASAP and will be working full time - 37.5 Hours Per week
The hourly rate for his role is:
Monday to Friday 06:00 - 20:00: £26.00 Per Hour
Saturday/Nights: £30.00 Per Hour
Sunday/Bank Holiday: £34.00 Per Hour
