We are proud to partner with a rehabilitation service offering specialist care for women with a diagnosis of Personality Disorder (PD) or Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), as well as those with other mental health challenges and young women transitioning from CAMHS. Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Support Workers to join our agency. As an Agency Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing specialised support to women with complex mental health needs, including those with PD or EUPD diagnoses. You will work across the service, delivering person-centred care and therapeutic interventions to support individuals on their journey towards recovery and independence.
Responsibilities:
- Providing personalised support and assistance to women with Personality Disorders, Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, and other mental health challenges.
- Implementing individualised care plans and therapeutic interventions to support residents' recovery goals and promote their well-being.
- Supporting residents with daily living activities, including personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Facilitating group activities, therapy sessions, and recreational outings to promote social engagement and skill-building.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and occupational therapists.
- Maintaining accurate records of observations, interventions, and progress notes in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in mental health or rehabilitation settings, particularly with individuals diagnosed with Personality Disorders or EUPD, is highly desirable.
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to consistently meet scheduled shifts and commitments.
- A compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with residents and colleagues.
- A commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and autonomy for all residents.
