Job Description

This company is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Assistant to work on an agency temporary contract in the NHS Shropshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for unpacking patient samples, fetching reagents, changing and maintaining equipment, scraping blocks, helping distribute stock to clinics, filing, and routine dispatch of work to post room. The role also involves fetching transport boxes from and to pathology.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
