Job Description

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a bustling local authority, based in Dorset, which needs an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their team and handle predominately education prosecutions matters.
 
Role: Litigation Solicitor
Location: Dorset – largely remote
Umbrella Rate: £40 - £45ph
PAYE Rate (Inclusive of holiday): £39.72 - £35.37ph
Contract length: 3 months ongoing
 
Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Solicitor role:
  • Handle education prosecutions and other litigation cases on behalf of the Council.
  • Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Draft legal documentation and undertake advocacy in court as required.
  • Liaise with external counsel and other relevant bodies.
Key Requirements:
  • A Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with strong litigation experience.
  • Experience in education-related prosecutions, preferably within a local authority context.
  • Excellent advocacy, communication, and drafting skills.
