Covering the Preston and Surrounding areas, we are seeking a gardener who is ideally experienced with both soft and hard landscaping.
Key duties will include:
- Landscape construction – hard and soft landscape
- Labouring work for hard landscape construction and artificial grass installation/patio installation and flagging.
- Soft landscaping construction work including – planting of trees, shrubs, beds and borders; seeding, turfing,
- practical gardening tasks including pest and disease control, weed control.
- Grounds maintenance works on both commercial and domestic contracts
- Communicate with manager and colleagues
- Communicate with key client staff and external contractors where necessary.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach
- Compliance with statutory regulations including H & S regulations
- Use own initiative to satisfy client contracted needs
- Solve problems in a safe manner and escalate any necessary issue to the Line Manager
Skills/Qualifications required for this role:
- Interest in landscaping and horticulture
- Self-motivated and good work ethic
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Physically fit
- Good interpersonal skills
- Team worker
- Full UK Driving Licence
This is a full-time role working from 7:30am till 5pm Monday to Friday with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
