Information and Monitoring Officer

Warrington Council are looking for an experienced Information and Monitoring Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collating and analysing safeguarding and care quality data, alongside minuting meetings and monitoring safeguarding and quality related actions. The post is full time at 37 hours per week and is hybrid with a minimum requirement to work from the office in Time Square, Warrington for 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, monitor and maintain schedules, records and systems for work in the service area to ensure an effective and efficient service.
  • Collating, coordinating and analysing a range of information that supports intelligence led activity for the relevant safeguarding and care quality monitoring processes and procedures.
  • Preparing reports that demonstrate themes and trends and highlight issues.
  • Coordinating relevant enquiries which enable the Safeguarding and Care Quality Team to focus and prioritise their safeguarding and care quality enquiries and improvement work.
  • Undertaking necessary enquiries to support the work of the team, including seeking information from adults who use services and their families.
  • Supporting statutory data collections and corporate/ SAB performance management by supporting the design and capture of data and providing quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Previous experience of working in a local government directorate.
  • Ability to create and apply methodical systems and procedures.
  • Ability to provide detailed analysis of information which can be complex and large quantities.
  • Effective presentation and report writing skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE passes, or equivalent (e.g. 'O' Levels), at Grade C or above.
  • Evidence of formal training or equivalent experience in IT application and information governance (GDPR).
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
