Job Title: ICT Business Partner
Location: Thames Valley South
Contract: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: £450 per day

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ICT Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month contract in Thames Valley South. As an ICT Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in managing the relationship between ICT and key Force stakeholders, ensuring that ICT services align with business objectives and deliver maximum value.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to align ICT services with Force objectives.
  • Identify and exploit opportunities for technology and ICT service solutions.
  • Ensure ICT systems and services meet business needs and deliver identified benefits.
  • Manage a portfolio of ICT customers to ensure services are fit for purpose and deliver best value.
  • Proactively manage Service Improvement Plans to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with senior officers and staff to facilitate collaboration and identify opportunities for technological innovation.
  • Negotiate and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
  • Validate and justify business ICT needs, conduct feasibility studies, and prepare business cases.
  • Work closely with the ICT Portfolio Management and change programs to support Force priorities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance across ICT functions.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in ICT management within a complex environment, ideally using ITIL frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of the IT environment and technical platforms relevant to the organisation.
  • Proficiency in business improvement techniques and service delivery economics.
  • Experience in developing business proposals and presenting them effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to influence and achieve significant outcomes through persuasion.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to various locations across the Force areas as required.


Additional Information:

  • The role requires a full UK driving license due to the need for flexible working hours and travel to various locations.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and ITIL best practices is highly desirable.
